Developed for PORTER’s 90th anniversary, this hooded parka is made from blue nylon twill treated with an artisanal corrosion process that makes each piece unique and unrepeatable. Garment dyed with anti-drop.
Hooded parka made from blue nylon twill and padded with two layers of wadding: the first bonded to the outer layer, and the second quilted in a multi-axial pattern to the lining. The finished garment undergoes an innovative corrosion treatment on nylon, reflecting STOthtNE ISLthtAND's ongoing commitment to research and experimentation. The corrosive solution is sprayed manually through an artisanal process, making each piece unique and unrepeatable. The corroded areas take on a worn appearance, creating a gradient effect. The garment is then washed to halt the corrosion process and treated with a specific anti-drop agent.
